Chapter 4
Ron Verse the Master

Ron wakes up and heads out his door where Sasami was waiting for him with a scared look on her face.

“Sasami what’s wrong,” asked Ron.

“Are you okay Ron?  I heard you talking in your sleep and it really scared me.”

“I had a nightmare.  It was really terrible.  My parents…they were killed then my house was burned down and a strange figure made by the smoke of the house.  It looked like a Mawile but it had evil, glowing, red eyes and it was laughing.  I did not know what to do then it just ends there.”

“Wow you must been terrified.”

“Yes.  Hey will you follow me to the Sword Clinic and teach me some things?”

“Like what?”

“Some psychic moves that is simple that I can do.  All I know how to do is moves stuff.  That’s how Jack and I cleaned up the place.”

“Didn’t take you guys to long now did it.”

“Nope.”

“So let’s get started then shall we.”

They walked out the door to the Sword Clinic.

“So let’s do something simple that you can do lets see…ho I know lets do the move Calm Mind then we will do Teleport.  Just so you can get from place to place when ever you want to and Calm Mind will make your psychic power stronger and you won’t take as much damage from special attacks.”

“Cool.”

“But doing such moves is easer when sitting down but once you get good enough you can do it while walking.  But I do have an idea, I’ll lift you up and give you instructions on how to do Calm Mind that way you’re sitting down.”

“Good idea.”

Sasami looked at Ron and her eyes started to glow blue and Ron was lifted into the air.  “Okay now how can I explain this… aaa first find some psychic energy that’s in you.  Then channel it through out your mind.  The longer you channel it the stronger your attack will be but for your defense take what you channeled and bring it to the surface of your skin.  I mostly do them both by splitting the energy in half.  But once you used the channeled energy you can’t retrieve it till you go to sleep.  And if you channel too munch energy at once…can kill you.  I’ll merge with your mind to see if you do it right.”

“My power can kill me, dang.  Well let’s do it.”

Sasami merged with Ron’s mind to see how he does when he uses Calm Mind.  Ron gathered little of his psychic energy and stared channeling the energy but it just slips by.

“Good try Ron but try a little harder.”

Ron focus his psychic energy but changed on how he channeled it.  The channeled energy started too changed.  It seamed like it was not his but it was with a little extra power.  

“Good job Ron.  Now what are you going to do with the power?”

“Nothing with it right now.  Let me down so I can try doing it while I walk.”

“Were almost there.”

“Ho.  Okay then.”

“Good luck Ron I’ll be cheering you on but I go to run to the store.”

“Thanks Sasami.  Well then I’ll catch you later.”

“See ya,” Sasami took off down the road to the store.

“Well here goes nothing,” Ron slides the door open and saw the master standing in the ring and no one was around to watch.

“Well Ron,” said the master, “you have come very far in just a few days.  I’m very impress on how you controlled your actions yesterday fighting Jack.  And now if I am correct you have psychic powers.”

“How did you find out sir?”

“One, you brought a psychic type person here.  Two you said you have a special power.  Three you repaired the dojo and painted it faster then what my students could do all together.  After eliminating the entire possibilities only one seemed more obvious.  But how you got that power I don’t know.”

“Well sir may we do what we came here to do?”

“Yes Ron, draw out your sword and don’t hold back.  Give it your all.  I have been looking for someone else to fight other then Jack.”

Ron pulls out the sword and got into his fighting position.  “Master I am ready.”

The master stepped back with one leg and brought both of his sword arms up in front of him and holding them so still they weren’t even moving an inch. “Then let’s go.”

Ron stood there gathering his psychic power and started channeling it through his mind and the master started to glow green.  Right when the master took a step towards Ron, Ron brought all of the channeled energy to his skin to endure his special attacks.  The master brought both of his swords to his one side and slashed across; Ron jumped up and lay flat so he can doge the attack by slipping through the blades.  The master brought up one of his swords and stabbed down at Ron.  Ron brought up his sword and knocked the master’s blade away from him.  Ron rolled out of the way of the next stab attack and got on his feet.  Ron slowly walked around the master till his back was at the backdoor, then he slowly walked backwards to the door.  When he made it he opened the door with his foot and jumped out as the master flew towards him.  Ron rolled to the side as the master flew out and landed on a tree.  

“Good idea Ron, don’t want to create another mess in the dojo for you to clean up.”

“My thought exactly.”

Ron started to channel some more energy through his mind so he can make his attack stronger this time.  Heheh for a Mawile that is new to the move Calm Mind im pretty good at it.  “You’re not going to get away that easy.”  Ron slashed at the tree sending a blast of energy at him.

The master easily dogged the attack just by jumping to the side.  Ron’s attack hits the tree with such force that it started to fall.  The master keeping his eye on Ron did not see the tree started falling at him.

“Master watch out,” Ron sent another blast of energy at the master making him jump back as the tree landed in front of him and the attack hits the tree.

“Ron, there is no need for you to worry about your opponent.  If he can not watch out for himself then let him go.”

“Yes master,” lifts his sword up in front of his face.

The master uses Double Team and surrounds Ron. “So how can you handle this?  But your trick against Jack won’t work on me.”   The master and his copies lunge at Ron and starts slashing at his body.

Ron blocks some attacks but can’t block the ones on his back, “Gha,” as he falls to his knees.

“I’m sorry Ron, but u have failed. The fight is over.”

“No it’s not sir, try delivering the final blow.”

“If you wish Ron,” he and his clones put a sword-arm up and slash down on Ron.

Ron rolled between of one of the clones and kicks him in the back, the clone flies at another clone and they hit the ground as they disappear.  

“You think fast Ron, but,” all of the clones jumps away from Ron leaving him in the center, “but can you think of this,” leaves sprung out of his body and they shot at Ron.

Ron ran at one set of leaves and did a barrel roll between the leaves and getting minor scratches form them.  Some of the leaves collided with each other and demolished each other and the others slipped bye.  The clones that were behind Ron jumped out of the way of the attack as the others kept there ground to attack Ron.  The clones in front of Ron raised there sword, Ron jumped off the ground and stepped on one of there faces and jumped off of him, the leaves hit them and the clones vanished.  Ron flipped in the air and lands on his feet an the leaves behind him slices his horn and shoulders.

“Gha,” cringes in pain from the leaves. He stands up and faces the 3 clones 1 of them being the master with blood running from his wounds staining his uniform.  “That was a good attack there master.”

Ron runs at them and jumps up kicking the one clone on the right and jumping off of him destroying the clone, he kicks with his other leg and hits the master knocking him down, as Ron lands he spun around and kicks the other clone on the left in the chest also killing the clone and Ron brings his blade to the back of the masters head with the tip of it inches away from him.

“That’s enough Ron you win.”

“Thank you master,” said Ron as he sheets his sword and helps his master to his feet.

The master gets up with Ron’s help, “thank you Ron. Now I believe it is time I told you my name. My name is Bladra.  I have been running this studio for years and I am the 5th Scyther to keep this place up and running.  So this building has been through so munch.

“You’re the legendary Bladra!”  Ron bows at him.

“Ron that’s okay you don’t need to do that.  Besides my legend has died off I’m surprise you heard about it.  But you don’t need to pay respects to me, you have defeated me in battle so it is I who should pay respect to you Ron,” he bows at Ron.

“But master?”

“Ron, it’s okay.  Now don’t you have an adventure ahead of you that you must do?”

“Yes I do sir, I must avenge my family.”

“Then Ron, go and protect your family’s name for the sake of them.”

Ron bows to him, “I will not fail my family sir, and I will not fail you.” He looks at Bladra before taking off to the store to find Sasami.  When Ron made it there Sasami was in the check out lane so he waited at the door for her.  

Sasami walks up to him, “Hi Ron how was it, I have gotten some stuff for out trip.”

“I have made it Sasami. So are you ready to leave?”

“Wonderful Ron.” Sasami walks out of the store with Ron closely behind.

When they left the store Bladra was there waiting fore Ron, holding some stuff.  “Ron, I have some stuff to give you.”  He holds the stuff in front of Ron revealing a new uniform, a black belt, and two white wrist bands.  “Ron, these items has been soaked in special oil that will enhance your psychic powers.  The uniform and the belt are yours, Sasami the wrist bands are yours.  Please you two come back safe.”

“Yes master,” said Ron as he took the uniform and the black belt.

“Thank you sir,” said Sasami as she took the wrist bands and put them on.

“Take care toy two,” said Bladra as he walks into the store.

Ron replied, “We will sir.”

Sasami and Ron walks back to Sasami’s house.  Ron started to clench is fists because of the pain of losing his parents.

“Ron, are you okay?”

“I am fine Sasami.”

“Ron, Sasami wait for me.” There was a little Grimer right behind them.  “Ron, Sasami I have some news for you.  A person is going around looking for you guys.  He cheeped me out so I came and told you guys that he is looking for you two.” He looks to his left and points over there, “That’s him.”

Ron and Sasami looked over there and saw a person in a black clock talking to a Noctowl. He raises his hand up reveling a blade that looks like a Scythers arm blade.

“Sasami we better get to your house before he sees us.  Thanks kid.”

With that Sasami and Ron ran back to Sasami’s house.  “Mom, Dad,” said Sasami.  “Ron and I are leaving to go find the killers of Ron’s parents.”

Sasami’s mother walks up to them, “You two be careful and don’t get hurt.”

Mr. Gardenia spoke up, “Sasami if you two need help call me and I will be right there to save you two.”

Sasami goes up to them and hugs them good buy.

Ron looks out the window, “Hey Sasami we better go the Scyther is coming this way.”

“Ron, follow me to the back door,” said Sasami.

Ron followed her out the back door and they both leave south of the town.

The door bell rang and Mrs. Gardenia answered it. On the other side of the door was the clocked person that looks like a Scyther.  

“Excuse me Miss have you seen a boy Mawile here named Ron Maw,” he asked.

“Sorry sir I have not seen him.”

“Thank you,” and he leaves.

Mrs. Gardenia contacted Sasami using a mind link, “Hello sweetie that clocked Scyther cam buy looking for Ron.  He just left the house to look for some more but you two should be okay for now.”

“Thank you mom,” said Sasami as she closes the mind link.  “Ron it will take the person a while to find out before we leave so we better get some distance on him before he finds out that we have left.”

“Great idea Sasami, we better keep moving then,” said Ron as the two walked onto a path that goes to the next town.
